Section 2-19-101 Required.

(a) No person may purchase cotton on a forward contract from a cotton producer without first having registered with the commissioner as a cotton buyer. (b) It shall be a misdemeanor to violate subsection (a) of this section and, upon conviction, the punishment imposed shall be as prescribed by law.
